PUBLIC NOTICE PURSUANT TO SECTION 65 OF THE RABBITS ACT, 1955. Notice is hereby given that the Upper Rakaia Rabbit Board has by resolution dated June 16, 1966, classified all land in its district for the period commencing on April 1, 1966, and ending on March 31, 1967. A list setting forth such classification may be Inspected without fee at the offices of the Board, J. W. K. Lawrence and Co., Public Accountants, 208 Oxford terrace, Christchurch, between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on week days and such a list will be open for inspection from 9 a.in. on Monday, June 20, 1966, until 5 p.m. on Monday, July 18, 1966. Notice is hereby given that the Upper Rakaia Rabbit Board intends at a meeting of the board to be held at Christchurch at 11 a.m. on Thursday, August 4, 1966 (or at such other place or date as the said board shall meet) to make and levy a rate on the land in its district for the period commencing on April 1, 1966, and ending on March 31, 1967, in the following proportions in respect of the following classes of land: 5.5 d per acre in respect of Land In Class I. 5d per acre in respect of Land m Class 11. 4d per acre in respect of Land in Class 111. 3.2 d per acre in respect of Land In Class IV. 3d per acre In respect of Land in Class V. 2.5 d per acre in respect of Land in Class VI. 2.4 d per acre in respect of Land in Class VII. 2d per acre in respect of Land in Class VIII. 1.6 d per aere in respect of Land in Class IX. Id per acre in respect of Land in Class X. .6d per acre in respect of Land in Class XI. And notice is hereby further given that the said rates will become payable at the office of the Board and in one sum on August 10, 1966, and that the rate book is open for inspection without fee by ratepayers between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., Monday to Friday.
