And IN THE MATTER of the Rating Act, 1925, and its amendments. PUBLIC NOTICE PURSUANT TO SECTION 65 OF THE RABBITS ACT, 1955. Notice is hereby given that the Waiau Rabbit Board has by resolution dated June 8, 1966, classified all land in its district for the purpose of levying a rate on a graduated scale for the period commencing April 1, 1966. and ending on March 31. 1967. A list setting forth such classification may be inspected without fee at the offices of the Board, J. W. K. Lawrence and Co, 208 Oxford terrace, Christchurch, between the hours of 9 a m. and 5 p.m. on weeks days and such list will be open for inspection from 9 a.m. on Monday, June 20, 1966, until 5 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 1966. NOTICE OF PROPORTION OF RATE PROPOSED BY THE WAIAU RABBIT BOARD TO BE APPOINTED IN RESPECT OF THE RESPECTIVE CLASSES OF LAND IN ITS DISTRICT AS SET OUT HEREUNDER. In the matter of the Rabbits Act, 1955, public notice pursuant to section 65 of the Rabbits Act, 1955, and secti6ns 54 and 76 of the Rating Act, 1925. Notice Is hereby given that the Waiau Rabbit Board intends at a meeting of the board to be held at Waiau at 1.30 p.m. on Wednesday. August 10, 1966 (or at such other place or date as the said board shall meet), to make and levy a rate on the land in its district for the period commencing on April 1, 1966, and ending on March 31, 1967, in the following proportions in respect of the following classes of land: 1.875 d per acre In respect of land in Class I of its classification list, 2.8125 d per acre in respect of land in Class II of its classification list, 3.9375 d per acre in repect of land in Class HI of its classification list, 4.5 d per acre in respect of land in Class IV of its classification list, 5d per acre In respect of land in Class V of its classification list, 5.0625 d per acre in respect of land In Class VI of its classification list, 5.625 d per acre in respect of land tn Class VII of its classification list, 6.75 d per acre in respect of land in Class VIII of its classification list, 7.5 d per acre in respect of land in Class IX of its classification list, 7.845 d per acre in respect of land in Class X of its classification list, 9d per acre in respect of land in Class XI of its classification list, lOd per acre in respect of land in Class XII of its classification list, 11.25 d per acre in respect of land in Class XIII of its classification list, Is j>er acre in respect of land in Class XIV of its classification list, Class XV of its classification list special rate, £6O. PURSUANT to Section 54 of the Rating Act, 1925, PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that it is the intention of the Tawera County Council at its next meeting to be held at 1.30 p.m. on the Sth day of July, 1966, at Springfield, to make and levy the following rates: — A General Rate of lid in the £ (including North Canterbury Catchment Board Rate of ,0213 d in the £) on the Capital Value of all property appearing on the Valuation Rolls of the said County, such rates to be for the period commencing on the Ist day of April, 1966, and ending on the 31st day of March, 1967, and shall be due and payable on the 27th day of August, 1966 at the County Office, c/o.
