QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants should have a degree in civil engineering with training and at least five years’ experience in the design, construction and operation of simple water systems. Applicants without degrees would be considered, but they must have had at least 10 years’ experience. Experience in administering water supplies and a working knowledge of the operation and maintenance of various pumps for lifting water with difference prime movers, particularly internal combustion and electrical motors, would be essential. 2. DUTIES: (a) To design and construct simple water supply systems. (b) To establish a Water Board whose authority would cover “municipal” and village water systems throughout the kingdom and manage its activities. (c) To assist the Medical Department in promoting safe water supplies throughout the kingdom. 3. AGE: Preferably between 35 and 45 years. 4.
