Cool Stores At Port Needed
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, June 16. The provision of adequate cool storage facilities at the Port of Tauranga would save dairy companies in the Auckland province £lOO,OOO in internal transport costs annually, the chairman of the Dairy Board, Sir Andrew Linton, said in Auckland today. At present it was estimated that 55,000 tons of produce could be profitably shipped through Tauranga annually, he said.
