Profit Slip By J. Steele
(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, June 16. The group profit of J. Steele, Auckland foundationgarment maker, fell £385, or 1.7 per cent, to £22,411 in the year to March 31. The.dividend is steady at 171 per cent with a final dividend of 10 per cent, and again requires £11,375. The earning rate on average ordinary funds is down from 11.2 to 9.8 per cent, and that on ordinary capital is 31.2 per cent against 31.8 per cent last year.
