FINE TRIAL AT LEVIN

Gus, Mukupai Work Well "The Press” Special Service LEVIN. Gus and Mukupai, rival candidates for the Members’ Handicap at Awapuni on Saturday, completed their final trials soundly at Levin yesterday. Work was done 30 feet out on the course proper, which had been cutting out badly, but which had firmed considerably under a severe frost. Gus (W. D.
