B.M.C. HIRE PLAN

The British Motor Corporation recently introduced a low-cost hire car plan to meet the needs of visitors to Britain. Under the arrangement, the traveller can take delivery of a new Mini or 1100 and use it, fully warranted and insured, for three months or 3000 miles at cost of only £5O. During the peak season, normal hire charges are about £2O a week.

The plan is conditional on the traveller placing an order before leaving New Zealand for a new B.M.C. car to be delivered on his return, and leaving a deposit with a dealer to cover additional charges if he fails to do this. If the car to be supplied in New Zealand is purchased under the no-remittance scheme the deposit is not required.
