Contract For Hotel
A £68,000 contract has been let for the design of Messrs Warren and Mahoney to modernise the Mendana Hotel at Honiara, in the Solomon Islands.
Improvements include a two-storey, air-condi-tioned, luxury block of 15 twin bedrooms, a marine swimming pool, and squash courts. The rest will be modernised throughout to give 65 beds by the middle of next year.
