Good entries were received for the Canterbury provincial championships held at the Geraldine Gun Club and conditions were ideal over the two days of shooting. Results:— Single Rise (58 entries).—Possibles: E. Baldock, R. W. Wright, H. A. Jones, W. Inwood, D. Innes, W. M. Holland, D. S. Harrison, D. Dalton, F. Manson, R. Stowell, T. Everett, J. Sutherland, J. McKenzie, J. Geddes, W. S. Brunton. The shoot-off was won by Brunton, on the sixty-first target, with Inwood second and McKenzie third. Single Barrel (57 entries). — Possibles: H. A. Jones, T. Everatt, J. McKenzie, L. W. Kerr, E. Streeter. J. Brightling, R. Stowell. Shoot-off: McKenzie X, Everatt 2. Sparrow (58 entries).—Shootoff: Everatt 1, D. Dalton 2, R. G. Brown 3. Skeet (38 entries).—Possibles: C. Streeter, H. A. Jones, A. Donald, J. McKenzie. W. F. Brunton, F. E. Kelly, M. Havill, E. Skinner, R. Stowell. Shoot-off: Donald 1, Jones 2, McKenzie 3. Double Rise (44 entries).— Possibles: F. Manson, J. McKenzie, A. Brown, C. Streeter, D. Innes, W. Gillespie. Shootoff: Manson 1, McKenzie 2.
