Died During Match
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) SYDNEY, June 13. A Rugby player collapsed and died during a match at Dulwich Hill, Sydney, yesterday. He was Terence Charles Hansen, aged 21, a police constable, of Clovelly. Police were told that Hansen, playing with the Waverley Catholic Youth Organisation team at Arlington Oval, tackled an opposing player. He got to his feet and then collapsed. He was dead on arrival at hospital.
Pel. Clinched Match.—Brazil, with the aid of two first-half goals by Pole, beat Czechostovakla 2-1 in a soccer international at the Maracana Stadium at Rio de Janeiro on Sunday. -
