(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) MOSCOW. Gennady Agapov, of the Soviet Union, bettered the world’s best time for the 30,000 metres walk at Sverdlovsk on Sunday. He clocked 2hrs 12min 56.4 sec to improve the previous best mark of 2hrs 17min 16.7 sec by another Soivet walker.
