Smith In Doubt
[From Our Rugby Reporter) TIMARU. The All Bla.k threequarters, I. S. T. Smith, may not be able to take his place at centre in the Combined team to play the British Isles tomorrow because of a strained ligament, and his understudy, J. Sampson, of Mid-Canterbury, is also out of action. Sampson has pulled a hamstring. Smith will have a fitness test today. If he fails to pass it, he will be replaced by K. Reilly, of South Canterbury.
