AT THE OWAKA SALEYARDS, (20 miles from Balclutha) The Otago Farmers* Co-operative Association of New Zealand Limited will offer for sale by Auction as above on account of Messrs Graylands Farms Ltd., Hunts road, Owaka. their Graylyn Stud and Grade Friesian Factory Calvers as follows: 7 Stud Cows 3 Stud Heifers (rising two-years) 26 Grade Cows 12 Grade Heifers (rising two-years whose dams have averaged over 6001 b butterfat). Also 200 gallon Stainless Steel Milk Tank. NOTE: The Graylyn Stud of 20 years standing, in conjunction with the Grade Friesians, is recognised as an outstanding Herd and has been top in Otago for the last three seasons, and ranks among the first six Friesian Herds in New Zealand, as indicated by the following returns: 1963- 35 cows averaged 5371 b butterfat in 248 days. 1964- 35 cows averaged 5471 b butterfat in 240 days. 1965- 36 cows averaged 5671 b butterfat in 264 days.
