GUILD OF HELP
Community growth was evident from the number of novices and postulants who had joined during the year, said the secretary (Mrs E. M. Malden) in her annual report to Guild of Help of the Christchurch Anglican community. The new postulants were English, Chinese, Tongan and Indian, said Mrs Malden. The community had established a house in Suva during the year and the sisters from Christchurch would move in towards the end of this year. Their work in Suva would be the running of a multi-racial children’s home.
