Gemini IX

The astronauts, Thomas Stafford and Eugene Cernan, will make their third attempt to begin the Gemini IX mission today.
If Gemini IX is launched on time (1.39 a.m. New Zealand time Friday) Stafford will immediately begin the 75,000 mile chase to rendezvous with the Agena target satellite as soon as possible.
