Udare Favoured At Rotorua

“The Press" Special Service

ROTORUA.

Udare, Old Parr and Bright Chief seem the best prospects for the first leg of the T.A.B. double, the Autumn Handicap, at the Rotorua winter meeting today.

Udare and Bright Chief are last-start winners and Old Parr has a record at Rotorua which is hard to beat.

A week ago, over 11 furlongs at Te Rapa. Udare won and Bright Chief finished third. Udare has 41b more in the Autumn Handicap and Bright Chief is up 121 b. The figures favour Udare. Bright Chief had no luck at Te Rapa, but Udare probably would have beaten him in any circumstances.
