VACANCIES—GENERAL FASHION CO ORDINATOR KNITWEAR IN VIEW OF A PLANNED expansion into the field of high fashion in knitted outerwear, one of N.Z.’s leading knitwear manufacturers is seeking the services of a male or female fashion co-ordinator. The successful applicant will work in close cooperation with the company’s design staff, and will be expected to bring to this section new ideas in style and fashion as related to the knitted outerwear trade. To facilitate this work it is envisaged that periodic trips overseas will be made to keep abreast with latest fashion trends. It is expected that applicants will have had experience in the clothing industry—in the fashion sections of the retail trade and/or with styling and design departments of the garment manufacturing industry. Although some knowledge and experience in the styling of knitwear would be an advantage this is not essential. To a person who has a proven flair for fashion and colour harmony this position could prove most interestting and rewarding.
