VACANCIES—MALES UNIVERSITY OF CANTERBURY ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN PHYSICS DEPARTMENT National Science Foundation Research Project APPLICATIONS are invited for the position of Electronics Technician at this University, in the first instance for a period of two years only; for a satisfactory appointee a strong possibility exists of his position being 'made permanent. The ap pointee will be required to work on the radio meteor research programme, the duties to consist not only of operation of the equipment <69 Mc/s) but of development of the receiver equip ment so as to enable the meteor echoes to be recorded on digitising output circuits. For a competent technician, the work would be interesting and satisfying. The salary range for this position is £lO3O to £1335 per annum: commencing salary according to qualifications and experience.
