“REALISTIC” REVIEW
Reaction Of R.S.A.
“The Press'* Special Service WELLINGTON, May 27. The White Paper on Defence was “up to date and realistic,” the president of the Returned Services’ Association (Mr H. Mitchell) said today.
“We have been waiting somewhat impatiently for a long time for this review, but now that it has come it is gratifying that what the R.S.A. has been urging as basic principles for the defence of New Zealand are the foundation of the plans for the future,” he said.
“New heart will be given to the services, each of which will now provide a worthwhile career.”
