Hejaz Railway To Be Repaired
i (N Z P.A-Reuter—Copyright I DAMASCUS, May 27 Syria, Jordan and Saudi Arabia have agreed on plans to repair the Hejaz railway line which Lawrence of Arabia blew up in the First World War. The British Army officer, Colonel T. E. Lawrence, and his Arab forces wrecked the German-built line to disrupt Turkish troops movements. Communications Ministers of the three countries ended talks lasting three days today with - plan to have trains running again towards the 'end of 1968.
