LONDON, May 27
The British Government yesterday named four men to investigate the 11-day old seamen's strike.
The Labour Minister, Mr Ray Gunter, told the House of Commons that he hoped for a first report within two weeks. The four men will be beaded by an eminent judge, Lord Pearson.
Union officials estimate that 605 British ships are standing idle in ports around Britain with more than 17,000 seamen on strike.
