NOTICE is hereby given that a SPECIAL GENERAL MEETING of the above Association will be held at the Combined Co-opera-tive Distributors’, Ltd., Social Room, 28 Tuam street, Christchurch, on THURSDAY, May 26, 1966, at 8 p.m., to consider and if thought fit, to pass the following motion of which notice has been duly given. THAT the rules of the Association be amended by deleting Clause 14 thereof and substituting the following rule in place thereof: “14. SIX members of the Council shall beelected by the Christchurch Group, and TWO members of the Council by each of the Timaru and Rangiora Groups, and ONE members of the Council by each' of the Ashburton, Waimate, Oxford, and West Coast groups of members of the Association, or any subsequent new groups. Members of the Association shall vote with the group centred on the town nearest to which their respective poultry runs are situated. The Council may from time to time increase, reduce, or vary the aforesaid list of town groups except that no new group may be formed within the areas covered by an existing group except by agreement with the group affected, and any General Meeting or the Council may prescribe or approve the time, place, and manner of election by town groups of their or any of their respective selections of Council members. The elections by the Christchurch members and by the other town groups of Council Members shall take place not later than the 31st day of May in each year, the members so elected to the Council in each ease to hold office until he resigns or is replaced.
