DESCRIPTION OF WORK: The positions are clerical positions in the Board s principal offices in the main centres throughout New Zealand. The work also involves the supervision of other employees. It is necessary to work on all Saturdays and Statutory Holidays, but compensating day off is given during the week. REMUNERATION: The remuneration for the first year will not be less than £lO5O. PROMOTION PROSPECTS: The opportunities for promotion to higher positions are really excellent and will be explained fully at interview. TRAINING: Successful applicants will undergo a comprehensive course of training for three months at the Board’s Head Office, in Wellington. Accommodation expenses and travelling costs will be paid for those recruited from areas other than Wellington. The training course will commence August 2, 1966. LOCATION: After training the initial appointment will be to any branch that the Board decides. It is a condition of employment that the employee shall agree to this for his first appointment.
