Industrial First Aid
The Canterbury Manufacturers’ Association representative on the St. John Ambulance Association (Mr J. D. Bull) said that members had nominated 210 persons who would train in first-aid. This was under the new first-aid regulations for factories. Mr Bull said the St. John Ambulance instructor would also begin work within a week. He said that it was expected that once this training got under way, other factories would request that members of their staff take these courses.
