Ross and Glendining, the New Zealand textiler whose directors yesterday recommended acceptance of the revised higher take-over offer from United Empire Box Company, has extended its franchise arrangements with Anthony Squires Holdings, the Australian Financial Review reported. In addition to the New Zealand franchise for the manufacture and merchandising of Anthony Squires and Parini men’s wear ranges and Sax Altman slacks, Ross and Glendining’s subsidiary, the International Style Company, will now handle production and sale of the Daroff suit range throughout New Zealand.
