Kosygin In Cairo
(N.Z P.A.-Reuter —Copyright) CAIRO, May 17.
The Russian Prime Minister, Mr Kosygin, told a cheering crowd in Cairo yesterday that “the crimes the Americans are committing in Vietnam remind us of Hitler’s terrible acts.”
He told a student rally at Cairo University that Hitler’s policy of “subjugating cities, countries and peoples in World War II” failed. “It can be said that the Americans will meet a similar fate in Vietnam,” he said.
He dismissed United States peace overtures as a camouflage for aggression. Mr Kosygin today moved into the final stage of his eight-day visit to the United Arab Republic with further private discussions with President Nasser.
