(N.Z. Press Association) WELLINGTON, May 16. There were three political parties in New Zealand Labour, National and Auckland, a Wellington City Councillor said today. Cr. J. H. Turk was addressing a luncheon meeting of businessmen and members of Parliament arranged by the Wellington Chamber of Commerce to discuss the development of Paraparaumu airport. Cr. Turk was among speakers who mentioned Auckland’s unity in promoting the advancement of the city. The president of the chamber, Mr R. C. Mac-
Donald, said .'•-kland's citizens rallied around any standard for the advancement of the city. The Deputy Prime Minister (Mr Marshall) said Parliament heard more from Auckland members of Parliament because they had more problems. But Parliament also heard a lot more about their squabbles, he said. The former Leader of the Opposition (Mr Nordmeyer) said Aucklanders “certainly don’t think alike or act alike.” The Labour member for Miramar. Mr W. A. Fox, said: “You can’t get away from the fact that Aucklanders think New Zealand revolves around them.”
