Obituary Mrs S. Macdonald
(N.Z. Press Association) DUNEDIN, May 16. Mrs Sadie Macdonald, founder of the Waikouaiti Health Camp and originator of the health camp movement in Otago, died in Dunedin recently. She was 80. She was well known throughout Otago for a lifetime of social work. Born in Sydney, she trained as a nurse there before coming to New Zealand in 1912. She is survived by two sons, one a psychiatrist in Canada, and the other living in Palmerston North.
