Trial Team Changes
Three Maori players, G. Wattereus, R. Wainohu and K. King are not available for the Canterbury Rugby trial at Rugby Park tomorrow because they have to take part in Maori trials.
Wattereus will be replaced by D. Cutting (New Brighton) as full-back in the Probables team and L. B. O’Reilly will replace Wainohu as No. 8 in the Probables team. The Shirley half-back, R. M. Gearry, will replace King in the reserves.
The Canterbury prop, E. Veal, also is not available and his place in the front row of the Possibles team will be taken by L. Mclntosh (Old Boys). There is one change in the forward reserves, M. Perkins being replaced by A. Jolley.
