PROTEST PLANNED
Choice For Manager (N Z. Press Association) NAPIER. The secretary of the Hawke’s Bay-Poverty Bay Swimming Centre, Mr G. Muivanah, has confirmed a report that the centre will protest against the appointment of Mr A. J. Donaldson, of Christchurch, as manager of the New Zealand swimming team for the Empire Games in Jamaica. Mr Mulvanah said the centre was not satisfied with the way in which the election was conducted. He said the centre had sought the support of other centres for the demand for another ballot but had not yet received any replies.
