New Guinea Borders
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright) CANBERRA, May 16. Talks begin in Canberra on Wednesday between Australian and Indonesian officials on the demarcation of the border between Papua-New Guinea and West Irian. The talks are expected to complete arrangements for the work, which may being next month on the northern part of the border. According to a formula reached in Djakarta in 1964, a team each from Australia and Indonesia would make astronomical “fixes" from 14 georgraphical features along the border.
