11) Letters sent to the Editor for printing should preferably be typed, otherwise they must be written in ink on one side of the paper ciilv A legible signature aid full address are re quired whether these are to be published or not. A P.O box number is not a sufficient address. (2) Writers must say clearly whether or not their letters are being or have been sent to other papers. (3) The Editor cannot return or keep any letter which for any reason is unsuitable for printing; nor can he acknowledge unsuitable letters although this will be done where it seems to be need ful, or enter into any cor respondence. <4) Letters must not be of more than 150 words. R. Bowie.—lndeed, we have. E.W.H.—Hardly a useful line of discussion; and it might take a lot of space. Anti-Water.—No space for another correspondence now on milk quality; and legal action may be pending. Motorist.—The traffic superintendent of the Christchurch City Council (Mr J. F. Thomas) replies: “The correspondent is assured that the circumstances surrounding the recent accident are being fully explored, and when all the facts are known we will be in a pos i! tion to assess the necessity for any changes at either of these two intersections."
