DEATH OF WOMAN
Manslaughter Charge
(N.Z. Press Association) AUCKLAND, May 15.
Moses Rini, aged 44, a fetler, of Glen Innes, appeared in the Magistrate’s Court today charged with the manslaughter of a 35-year-old woman, Mrs Christine Corry, whose body was found on a bed at Mount Wellington yesterday. Mr W. J. Meade, S.M., remanded him in custody to May 26 at the request of the prosecutor, -Sergeant B. P. Donnelly. The defence counsel, Mr K. Ryan consented. Rini was charged that on or about May 12, he killed Mrs Corry by striking her, thereby committing manslaughter.
