Airport Closed
Although Christchurch Airport was closed by heavy fog on Saturday night and early yesterday morning, no internal or overseas flights were disrupted. The airport was closed from 9.15 p.m. on Saturday until 2 a.m. yesterday. The only change in schedule was a refuelling stop at Christchurch by the direct Wellington-Dunedin flight because of a fog forecast for Dunedin.
