The Queen’s Message

The Queen in an Anzac Day message to the Gover-nor-General (Sir Bernard Fergusson) said: “On the occasion of Anzac Day I once again join with my peoples in the Commonwealth of Australia and in New Zealand in remembering with pride those gallant men and women who laid down their lives in the cause of freedom. Their valour and devotion will long continue to be an inspiration to us all.”
