Five Hundred and Fifty Pounds (£11,550) to be known as the Renewal Loan, 1960, for the purpose of repaying on maturity, portions of the Aerodrome Development Loan, 1959, £40,000, and Vehicle Testing Station Cranford street) Loan, 1959, £35,000. It was further resolved that for the purpose of providing principal, Interest and other charges on such loan, the Council would make and levy a special rate of One Hundred and Forty-seven-Twelve Thousand Five Hundredths of a Pennv (147/1250d) in the Pound (£ 0000245) on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable propertv comprised within the City of Christchurch: and that such snecial rate shall be an annually recurring rate payable on demand during the currency of the said loan.
