C.U.B. Issue For Hotels
(N.Z. Press Assn.—Copyright.) MELBOURNE, April 25. Carlton and United Breweries have allotted 422,283 one dollar Z shares at a premium of 247 each, for cash, directors announced on Friday. The shares have been issued “in connexion with the purchase of hotels,” they said. On Tuesday, the Pearl family, which recently sold three hotels to Carlton and United, sold 456,793 Z shares at 347 in a special sale.
