Another Jaw-Break
D. A. Comparini, the 18-year-old Nelson cyclist who has won nomination as a pursuit rider for the Empire Games, will have his jaw broken within the next few days. Comparini suffered a slight fracture of his jaw just over two weeks ago when he fell from some scaffolding, but he competed at the final trials in Auckland late last week. The jaw will have to be re-broken and set in plaster. However, Comparini forsees no difficulties and
does not think it will hinder his training to any great extent.
