Schoolbov Chess Next Month
The annual Canterbury schoolboy chess championship will be held in the Canterbury Chess Club’s rooms in Bealey avenue during the second week of the May school holidays. Among those who will take part is the national schoolboy chess champion, B. A. Anderson. The winner and runner-up in the tournament will be eligible to play in the national schoolboy chess championships at Christchurch in August.
