Indonesian Party Offices Sacked

Four youths found in one of the headquarters buildings were dragged outside, thrown into cars and driven away. The students first attacked the headquarters for Partin do (Party Indonesia), then demolished the interior of Gerindo, a student organisation belonging to Partindo. More than 2000 students rallied first in front of the National Front headquarters, a Government-sponsored body designed to rally public support for all Government poli The students demanded in a proclamation read there that the National Front should be purged of Communist elements. They also demanded it be purged of members belonging to the leftwing faction of the Indonesian Nationalist Party. Then about 500 students surged to the headquarters of
