The Associate Librarian will ‘be responsible for the general iconduct and administration of the sections in his charge, including the Medical Sciences and Physical Sciences Branch | Libraries. He mav be required •to act as deputy for the LibraIrian when called upon to do so. He will co-operate with the academic staff with a view to developing teaching and research programmes in conjunction with 'the Library. His duties will include the organisation of reference services and the maintenance of records and statistics.
