Teen-agers’ Drinking
(N.Z. Press Association)
WELLINGTON, April 22.
The Minister of Justice, Mr Hanan, has received the results of a survey of teenage drinking in New Zealand. He is expected to release some details of the report in the next few days. Mr Hanan said on March 29 that he would ask the Minister of Police (Mr Allen) to arrange the survey. “There can be no denying that teen-age drinking is a problem in New Zealand,” Mr Hanan said then, “but we do not have enough available information on its dimensions.”
