THE RT. REV. G. V. GERARD, Assistant-Bishop of Sheffield, England, who will preach in Westminster Abbey at the special service to be held on Anzac Day. A New Zealander by birth, he was Bishop of Waiapu from 1938 to 1944. He served in The Buffs in the First World War and won the Military Cross. In the Second World War he was Senior Chaplain to the New Zealand Forces.
