Oil search subsidies worth more than half a million dollars were granted today by the Minister for National Development (Mr Fairbairn). All but two of the nine subsidies were for seismic sur-veys—-continuing a trend to this type of exploration. The biggest subsidy was 198.284 dollars to Delhi Australian Petroleum, Ltd., for survey of an area straddling the border of Queensland and South Australia.
