Box 1742, Christchurch, stating previous experience, etc. CHRISTCHURCH TRANSPORT BOARD PUBLIC NOTICE OF PROPOSED APPLICATION FOR SANCTION Of’ LOAN NOTICE is hereby given that the Christchurch Transport Board proposes at its meeting to be held on the 9th day of May, 1966, to consider a motion to apply to the Local Authorities Loans Board for its sanction to the borrowing of the sum of £115,000 for the purpose of constructing a new Omnibus Parking Depot with all necessary plant and buildings for its administration and operation. The security for the loan shall be a special rate of .0095262 pence in the £ on the capital value of all rateable property in the Christchurch Transport. District. Any person haying any objection to the proposed application is called upon to sub mit the same in writing to the Christchurch Transport Board not later than the day preceding the said meeting. FARDELL, General Manager. 9057 NORTH CANTERBURY ACCLIMATISATION SOCIETY EXPERIMENTAL FISHJNG SEASON—ASHLEY RIVER PURSUANT to Regulation 90 of the Freshwater Fisheries Regulations, 1951, special permits are available to holders of full season fishing licences issued by the North Canterbury Acclimatisation Society for the 1965/66 season, to enable them to fish for experimental purposes in that part of the Ashley River extending from Kings Avenue near the Lagoon, up to No. 10 Groyne above Fernside, during the period May 1 to May 31. Permits are issued on the condition that a record of all fish caught is returned to the Society. Current Regulations still apply, and artificial fly or artificial minnow only may be used as lures or baits. Permits are available on personal application and on production of licence to the Society at 61 Bealey avenue, or on forwarding licence by post to Box 989. Christchurch. J. R.
