EXPLOSION IN TRAIN
53 Killed In Assam
(N.Z.P.A.-Reuter—Copyright) GAUHATI (Assam), April 12. At least 53 people were killed and more than 100 injured when an explosion shattered a passenger train last night at a railway junction 100 miles south-east of Gauhati, in Assam. There was no official word of the cause of the blast.
