“Masculine Image”
Sir, —“The faceless society,” “the sick society,” and now the society with too masculine an image, devoted more to the "half-g” than to an appreciation of ballet! How many more of these rather mindless denunciations are going to be inflicted on us? I offer another one—the masochistic society, far too given to “knocking” itself and its own products. What about a little positive thinking for a change?—Yours, etc. l/.L.G, April 21, 1966.
