Still Chance For N.Z.

(N.Z. Press Assn—Copyright > SYDNEY. New Zealand boats had their worst day yet in the O.K. dinghy inter-Dominion championships on Sydney Harbour yesterday. Australian boats took the first four places in the fourth heat yesterday, and Sunday’s leader, J. McKenzie, of New Zealand, finished only thirtyfirst.

Progressive points scores have not yet been completed, but officials said McKenzie had probably lost his lead to yesterday's winner, A. Clark, in Solitaire.

They thought McKenzie would be second over-all with the Australian, J. Orr, in Rebel 11, third. Any of these three could clinch the championship in the final heat today. The first New Zealander home was C. Roberts, in Rebel, who was fifth. Other New Zealand Placings.—Aqua Star (M. Patterson), 8; Okasaki (E. Bland), 10; Aurora (D. Blundell), 12; Golden Kiwi (M. Menzies), 14; Excuse Me (J. Douglas), 15; Chai (K. Ansell), 27; Andromeda (P. Menzies), 30; Mac The Knife (J. McKenzie), 31; Oke Doke (P. Morton), 32; Cardigan Bay (P. Race), 43.
