Fund-Raising By Juniors A splendid effort by Hororata Junior Red Cross members in raising more than £42 at a bring-and-buy was reported at the annual meeting of the sub-branch. The children had sent donations to several organisations and contributed goods they had made and collected. A highlight for members had been the visit of a Japanese Red Cross member. Contributions were made to the Save The Children Fund, £l5; assessment, £42; Western Samoa and Islands Hurricane Fund, £5; Christmas gifts for the elderly, £2; library, £2: South Pacific Fund, £2; Red Cross emergency cupboard, £2; 100 per cent disabled fund, £2.
