The work, which consists of the construction of a plant having an average capacity of 5 million imperial gallons per day, includes the following units: Influent screen and shredding equipment. Variable speed Influent, pumping system. Grit removal system. Reinforced concrete tanks for preaeration, sedimentation and sludge digestion. Operations building, housing and laboratory, control room, store rooms, maintenance area and miscellaneous offices. Included in the contract Is the supply and installation of necessary mechanical equipment and appurtenances. Contractors wishing to submit a tender for the work are requested to submit their names in writing to the undersigned by Friday, April 15. 1966.
